The tool is currently only available for Windows users. The Mac version should be released in the near feature. However, if you are on a Mac there are ways to use the tool on the Mac. Follow the Mac version Tutorial here.
Mac Users Option: Users will need to install Parallels Desktop 10 on Mac in order to use the Windows version of Taig. This isn’t difficult at all. Simply follow our tutorial here to Jailbreak iOS 8.4 using Mac with Parallels Desktop 10.
Step 1: Download the New Taig v2.3 Tool from here: http://apt.taig.com/installer/en/TaiGJBreak_EN_2300.zip
Step 2: Restore to iOS 8.4 from scratch on your device using iTunes. This is very important as OTA updates tend to not play very well with modern new jailbreaks. You can download your iPSW from our iPSW downloads page here.
Step 3: Disable Find My iPhone on your Device. Navigate to Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone and turn off the ‘Find My iPhone” toggle. This will require you to enter your Apple password to confirm.
Step 4: Disable your Passcode and Touch ID Unlock. Settings > Touch ID and press turn off passcode toggle
Step 5: Connect your iPhone to your computer and launch the Taig Jailbreak Tool downloaded from Step 1.
Step 6: The tool will now identify your device and start the process. Once it has identified your device you will see the name on the screen inside the tools popup. This is now the time to start the jailbreak. Simply click start and the jailbreak will begin. IMPORTANT: Be Sure to UNCHECK the “3K Assistant” box before you begin.
Step 7: After a few minutes the device will reboot and you will see Cydia appear on the screen. This is the first sign your device has been jailbroken.
After the device has completed the jailbreak you will be able to safely turn the Find My iPhone feature back on with no issues.
