We all enjoy our mobile devices but as parents we need to be more aware of what our kids are viewing. Some may think since they aren’t using the “computer” they are safe. That couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s better to be safe than sorry as the saying goes.
As parents we can take precautionary measures so our kids are safe while using their mobile devices. What I am talking about is using some type of monitoring software to make certain. There are many different companies on the market which offer these services. However, I can recommend a couple of these which I have used myself.
One of my favorites is PhoneSherrif which allows users to monitor almost every aspect on the mobile device. It offers monitoring for things such as text messages,Facebook, internet use, contacts, phone calls, and much more. It’s available for $89/year on Platforms: Android , BlackBerry , MacOS , Windows 2000 , Windows 7 , Windows 8 , Windows NT , Windows Vista , and Windows XP. If you aren’t very tech savvy they can add this to the device remotely over the phone for an additional $39.99. Although, you will need to have the device in hand when you make the call to complete the process.
Another great service I have used on jailbroken devices is Mobipast. It’s one of the simplest tools to use. It provides monitoring services such as tracking location, contacts, Facebook, Text messages, and much more. Mobipast sends the report to an email address. So parents can receive the report at any email they choose during the registration process. Mobipast is available for a one time fee of only $39.99.
Both services are great and offer wonderful monitoring services. The only difference being the device must be jailbroken to use Mobipast. Take a moment to visit both sites of these products to read over The Features before making your decision.
