Hope for iOS 5.1 Jailbreak
When the New iPad was released three different jailbreak methods were revealed. Since the news of the iOS 5.1 jailbreak the updates have disappeared. Most of us are anxiously awaiting the jailbreak anyway.
Well I have good news, in a way. If you have been wondering about the new iPad jailbreak or iOS 5.1 jailbreak in general, Pod2G, the hacker who was responsible for the A5 processor jailbreak. He worked in conjunction with the Chronic Dev Team to perform the iPad 2 jailbreak. This jailbreak was for the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2 both.
Pod2G tweeted earler today he was working a few hours a week but had no clue when it would be released to the public.
This is good news and bad news both for the jailbreakers. We are going to get a jailbreak; we just don’t know when it will be released. I personally think jailbreaking has almost petered out. Don’t get me wrong I have been a jailbreak since the first iphone in 2007. It just makes you wonder with the increase in difficulty for finding the exploits needed. The vulnerabilities and exploits are almost like finding a needle in haystack. I just don’t know how many more times the hackers can keep finding holes or exploits to perform the needed hacks for the jailbreaks.
