Pull Down Banner Notifications To Reply Instantly: Power User Tip

It seems to be so easy to overlook or even forget some of the things iOS can do.  One really helpful tip and often underutilized is pulling down a banner notification when it appears to reply.  It allows users to reply instantly from right where they are without opening a new app or closing the current one.

Many users seem to just pass the powerful tip by or maybe never really tried it.  Believe me, if you start doing this you will find yourself doing it more and more.  It’s one of easiest things to do also.

The next time you get a banner notification such as iMessage you want to reply, just pull the banner down by swiping down on it.  This will open the iMessage reply box directly on the screen allowing you to input your reply and send it off without any issue.  It works the same for Twitter, Facebook, and any other app you get notifications from.    This is truly a great tip and one I had simply forgotten until reading about it again on ioshacker.com.
