PuXXles iOS App Review

Are you tired of the same applications only being renamed but having the same concepts.  PuXXles, by Nikita Spitsyn, is a free app which brings the idea of social connections and interacting with others using puzzles or riddles using iOS devices.  Use PuXXles to encrypt messages for others to solve using puzzles or riddles.   PuXXles offers users a way to communicate secretly using puzzles which they create or build themselves.  PuXXles can take one of your favorite photos and turn it into a jigsaw puzzle and add riddles the person solving must solve in order to see the photo.  The app works using a couple different images.  The first image is used for the puzzle and the second is the actual message displayed.  Sounds complicated but its very fun and could be a unique way to propose to  your girlfriend.  Maybe thats a bit extreme I know but it’s a possibility.

The sky  is the limit for all the different ways to use this application.  Can you remember pressing hard on a piece of paper to leave an indention, then taking a pencil to lightly shade over it to determine what was written.  Well, this works on the same principle in a way but only different.  Just joking, its a very unique application and a fun way to interact with others.

This could definitely take the place of the same old text messages we use day after day.  It might not be a great way to ask a pretty lady to dinner.  They may be unable to solve the puzzle and you could end up dining alone.  Just joking, again.  Maybe my since of humor is off a bit but I think you get the point.

PuXXles is free in the app store.  However, users may wish to purchase more puxx for getting more involved with the game.  Although, it doesn’t require you to make any purchases.  Users can collect puxx for completing their profile and solving other puzzles sent by others.  These are spent to create PuXXles to send to others.  So if you solve about as many as you send or create you shouldn’t need to buy any more puxx.  On the other hand, if the persons you send your Puxxles to can’t solve them you aren’t getting any credit or earning points, aka Puxx.  So hopefully this gives you an idea how it works.  Bottom line, if you enjoy solving jigsaw puzzles you will most likely enjoy PuXXles.  Give it a try today and download it here.
