The Keyboard Buddy by BoxWave for the iPhone 4/4S makes texting and writing longer emails a breeze on the iPhone. The model I am reviewing is the backlit keyboard model which makes typing in the dark or low light much easier. If you are like many other iPhone 4/4S users you find the virtual keyboard a little small for those long emails or documents longer than a simple text. The Keyboard Buddy slides under the iphone when not in use for concealment and protection. The Buddy doesn’t add any noticeable weight difference to the overall weight of the combination of the two together. Yes, there is a little weight but nothing that would deter anyone from carrying or using the Keyboard Buddy. It makes texting much faster or more comfortable. Simply flip the keyboard open and use your thumbs on each hand to speed text. It’s very noticeable the speed difference of my ability to type while using the Boxwave Keyboard Buddy. However, I type with only one hand and it even helped improve my accuracy and speed noticeably. I simply rest the device on my knee and use my left hand to do all the work. I can use the physical keyboard with much greater accuracy and speed.
