Salvation is a free application for iOS devices developed by Russian developer, Foggybus. Salvation has a story line which users will thoroughly enjoy. The game begins with a boy and his dog, his best friend, who take a trip into outer space. They are taking this trip to find their home which was stolen by aliens. As they travel through the different planets players must help them retrieve their home. However, they have many obstacles along the way which makes the missions difficult to complete. The farther along they get into the missions the harder and faster everything moves.
The game begins fairly slow paced and will remind users of the game ping pong. The objective is to keep the ball moving without it hitting either side of the wall using paddle-like sliders. Players must use the sliders on each side of the wall to keep the ball moving and keep it from hitting the wall. Some of the missions will include aliens which try to divert the balls movement making it harder to get to the ball in time before it hits the wall. Some of the aliens resemble octopus with one eye.
Salvation has beautiful graphics which resemble comic style graphics. The audio is enjoyable also while your playing the game. As you finish a mission you are unlocking others you can play later. One of my favorite parts is watching the ball disappear and coming back somewhere else on the screen. This makes the game much more interesting and challenging to play.
Players can make in-app purchases from $0.99 up to $3.99. This was nice to see IAP which weren’t astronomically priced. Many game developers have IAP which range up to $50 or more. In the event these are bought accidentally users could face great difficulty. We all know it’s very difficult getting a refund from Apple inside iTunes.
