Using the App

Once you have downloaded Seedling Comic Studio app, you can easily get started on your personalized comic book.  All you have to do is pick a photo from your phone’s library or take a new photo with the camera app.  And if you’re taking a photo of yourself in a busy room, Seedling Comic Studio app comes with a Cutout feature which allows you to literally remove yourself from the background of the photo and move this to a different background.  To make things more interesting, the app comes with a number of background options that you can choose from.

So what happens after you’ve uploaded a photo?  That’s up to you!  But to give yourself the superhero identity you’ve always wanted, you can edit the photo and add in some stickers.  Do you want your alter ego to come with a pair of glasses, hats or carry around a magic wand?  How about embody his inner Harry Potter and have a thunderbolt tattoo somewhere on his body?  The options are endless!  You can even ad word bubbles much like the ones that you typically see on actual comic books: Pow!  Bang!  Kaboom!

Once you’ve successfully completed your character, you can either share or save it.  The app also comes with an option to edit the comic book so you can add more information to it.  Considering it is a kid-friendly app, it comes with parental control before the photo may be shared or saved.  To do this, your child must answer the math question on the screen.  And unless you’re horrible at math, this is something you can breeze through easily as an adult.
