Terraria – 505 Games
Terraria is an amazing new game for the iOS devices, that is sure to give you a Big Bang for your buck. In the game you are set in a 2 dimensional world and you have to survive by building items to keep you safe. You will need the protection because this world is full of deadly creatures. You will need to build a shelter to protect from deadly demon eyes at night, and slime blobs in the day. But these are not all the creatures in Terraria. There are many enemies in the game like skeletons, ghasts, demons, mummies, and more. To progress farther in the game, you need better materials to craft better weapons and items, but those materials are only found in the dark depths of Terraria. This aspect of the game is much like Minecraft as you will need to dig down and search for ores like; copper, silver, gold, and even more rare ones like cobalt, mithril, and adamantite (only available after reaching hard-mode). With these better materials you can create better weapons and axes.
One great aspect of the game is the boss battles. You can battle creatures that will test your skill in combat. The first an easiest boss is Cthulhu’s eye, this will pose a challenge because you will need to get familiar with its movement style and strike accordingly. This game originally came out for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 and it stands up to the console versions amazingly but just lacks the precise controls you would get on a console.
In conclusion Terraria is an amazing game and is a must have for any fan of Minecraft or if you like explore/ build style games. For a price tag of $4.99 this is a definite must have.
