3. Prevent USB iPhone Charger End from Breaking or Fraying
We can all agree this is definitely a problem I’m certain. It’s really very simple to fix. Take the spring from the end of an ink pen. Attach the spring to the end of the charger wrapping the wire around and through the spring. You may need to pull the spring apart just a small bit to start the process. This will help prevent the wire from bending to the point of breaking over time. This should be done before the wires start to break and wire.
There’s another way to fix this problem if you have a rubber glue you can mold called Sugru. This can be purchased at most big box stores such as Lowes or Home Depot. This is a type of glue users can mold around the object but it hardens just enough to feel rubberized and flexible. Sugru adds great support at the end of the charging cable to prevent the wires inside from breaking over a longer period of time. It usually takes overnight for the glue to reach the desired hardness and flexibility. Hack Hint: Wrap the glue around the end of the USB charging cable in the same manner as you did the ink pen spring earlier.

4. Organize Desk Wires and Chargers
Use a binder clip to organize the chargers and other wires on your desk. Take a really large clamp or binder clip and clamp at the end of your desk. However, before clamping the binder clip to its permanent location thread the charger cable through the end of the binder clips. This will prevent you from having to crawl under your desk each time you loose a charging cable end or other wire you need. These can even be labeled by wrapping different colors of tapes around different wires so you recognize which cable goes to which item at a glance. Sounds very promising right and it’s so helpful being organized properly. It has made my life so much easier and I know it will do the same for yours.
