Keyboard Tweaks Now In iOS 8 App Store
iOS 8 brings several new features one being the ability to add third party keyboards. Well the good news doesn’t stop there. Two very popular keyboard jailbreak tweaks for iOS 7 will be available via iOS 8 App store. Thats right, two popular third party keyboards will be available soon.
Alt Keyboard 2 for iOS 7 was originally designed by Sentry_NC and coded by ac3xx (James Long). The keyboard software adds three major new functions to the keyboard. The most obvious is the ability to type more letters with one button. Users can also view alternate characters on a single keyboard view. Users can also edit text much easier meaning they can copy, paste, select, and cut with the use of swipe gestures, and move the cursor around in the body of the text using the grabbers on the sides of the keyboard. This feature also allows users to zoom in on a selected part of the text.
When Alt Keyboard 2 releases in the App Store, Alt Keyboard 2 will be released under the new Company called Appical. Although, we don’t have any concrete information about pricing, one may assume the Cydia price may be close. If that’s the case Alt Keyboard 2 sold for $2.99 in Cydia. Whether that will be the price in App Store, we will just have to wait and see.
The second keyboard app will be coming from the tweak titled SwipeSelection Pro. It’s developed by Kyle Howells and was a huge hit in the jailbreak community. Swipe Selection Pro allows users to swipe over the keyboard keys to move the cursor where they should want it to be.
We don’t have any information relating to release dates yet. Check out the video below and have a glimpse at each of the keyboard tweaks. Maybe this will help you decide if you want to purchase them in the App store. You might even want to try them now as a tweak. Let us know in the comments.
