2048 iOS app is a surprisingly addictive math game that is FREE for iOS devices. Now I know you hear math game and think “sounds boring” but it’s not. 2048 is actually extremely fun. The main goal of the game is to slide panels around and match up numbers to double the number (ie. 2×2=4 4×2=8 and so on…), and eventually reach 2048. This may sound easy but it’s not as easy as it may sound to be. You are confined by a four by four grid and every move a new number pops up. Once the board fills up and you cannot make another move you lose.

The premise of 2048 iOS game is simple but effective. No hardcore animations are used, but that’s alright, because of how addictive the gameplay actually is. Trying to get to the number 2048 proves to be a tough fight. There are no redo’s in this game which makes you think about each move. If you slide up all the tiles go up and it cannot be undone. This is one of the best things about the game, not having a second chance to preform a move correctly. That is what gives the game it’s high replay value, also trying to beat your friends high score.
