With Halloween just a few weeks away, people are already getting excited. They are decorating their homes to fit the occasion and picking out costumes for their kids. Some of them are even thinking about how they will be celebrating their Halloween party with their friends around them. If you’re one of these people, you’ll be excited to know that Apple has created a page on their App Store specifically for the scare of the event. Do you love Halloween? Check out these 5 Halloween apps that you can play on your iOS device:
Walking Dead: The Game
Halloween will never be complete if there are no zombies around. And when it comes to the best zombie graphic novel/TV series ever created, there’s no denying that The Walking Dead is the most successful ever. With its iOS game version, players can take the thrill of their life as they play through this interactive movie experience. Complete with deathly real graphics and a perfectly balanced action sequence, there’s much to love about Walking Dead: The Game.
Ghostbusters
Apart from zombies, Halloween wouldn’t be complete without ghosts. And if you’re a fan of the 80s hit TV series Ghostbusters, its iOS game version will make you relive each moment and enjoy the famous lines quoted by Bill Murray’s character. In this game, you get an interactive experience of New York as you try to fight a real frightening boss. You know who to call.
Slender Rising
There’s a reason why kids of all ages grew terrified of the prequel game Slenderman. The mere thought of a faceless man stalking, abducting and traumatizing his victims will haunt you and will even keep you up all night. Inspired by his tale, the game Slender Rising lets you experience the whole thing all over again. Don’t say you weren’t warned.
Into the Dead
Another zombie game that you can play with an endless runner gameplay is Into the Dead. You can choose from a number of weapons to fight the undead. And like Walking Dead: The Game, this can get pretty realistic too.
Five Nights at Freddy’s
Our recent review of Five Nights at Freddy’s gave us quite a scare and we’re still dreading ever played that game. Although its graphics aren’t as polished as that of Walking Dead: The Game or Into the Dead, the idea that a bunch of mechanical mascots can shock you out of a fuzzy TV monitor while you’re trapped with limited resources… well, you get the idea.
Bonus: Mama Bear
While Mama Bear isn’t an iOS game that you can play, it can help you keep track of your kids while they’re out trick or treating. All you have to do is install the app on your phone and theirs so you can keep an eye on them while you’re safe in your own home. Wasn’t Halloween supposed to be scary for kids only?
