BurstrGIF is a new Cydia Tweak which allows jaIlbroken iOS 8 users the ability to export a burst sequence of photos into a GIF file. It’s currently in the BigBoss Repo fore $1.49. This is a great way to add some life to your photos for social media or just creating something unique. It’s very simple to use.
How To Create GIF Files from Photos
Users will need to open the camera App and take a burst sequence. Burst sequence can be taken simplest by just holding the take photo button down without release. You will here the device clicking as you do this represents the number off photos being taken. After the burst sequence have been taken user can see how many photos they have taken in the top left corner.
Once you go through the burst sequence and choose the photos you wish to have included in the GIF file you will be presented with a number of different settings. One of the most important being the “speed” try to keep the speed at a viewable rate meaning not to fast or too slow. Divide the number of photos you are tanking by the number of speed to keep a range between 3-6 is what I have had the best luck with so far.
Press done and the tweak will process your GIF. Depending on the number of photos you have chosen to be in the GIF it could take a few minutes. So be patient. Try to name your filer when exporting it and this will make it much easier to locate.
