Bored of the current notification banner or lockscreen notification look? Coono is a new jailbreak tweak that is similar to flagpaint cydia tweak and adds more life to your notifications.
Coono customizes your notification banner, lockscreen notification and notification center header color. It colorizes an app’s notification based on that app’s dominant icon color. For example, when you receive an SMS notification, it will be colored green since the Message app is colored green. On the other hand, if you receive an email, the notification will be colored blue similar to the app’s color.
In addition, you can configure Coono via settings pane. You can adjust the saturation, brightness and transparency of the notification banners. Once you adjust these setting, you can tap “Show Test Banner” to see how it looks. Check out our demonstration of Coono tweak in the video below.
You can as well customize the look of notifications on the lockscreen by enabling or disabling notification blur, choose the notification background color, enable or disable gradient behind date, enable or disable seperator and many more settings. In addition, you can set the saturation and brightness of the notification center.
Overall, Coono is worth the try and allows you to determine which app the notification belongs to just by glancing at the color. Coono is available in Cydia for $1.5 and works on all devices running iOS 7.
