There are already plenty of people who are getting excited with the upcoming Apple Watch, especially since the device seems to be a promising venture for the company. And while there are no news regarding this yet, many are looking at other sources so they can be among the first to know about the status of the Apple Watch. If you are keeping a close eye on the Apple Watch, you’ll be pleased to know that a French website called iGen.fr has given recent updates on the device.
Based on their earlier report, the steel Apple Watch will be sold at a base price of $500. However, the gold Apple Watch edition will be priced between $4,000 and $5,000. Considering iGen.fr has been able to provide some reliable information in the past, there may be some truth to the pricing of the Apple Watch. Additionally, Apple did not disclose any additional pricing information on the Apple Watch during its September event. The only pricing information they released was that the Apple Watch will start selling at $349.
While the price for the Gold Apple Watch mentioned by iGen.fr seems to be too much for a device, it still does not come close to the estimated $10,000 price tag that other reports have indicated. As for its launch date, iGen.fr’s report claims that the device will be launched in time for Valentine’s Day. There is no mention of a specific date however.
Will this be the same time that was earlier specified by Apple retail chief Angela Ahrendts on an internal memo? As mentioned by the exec, the device will launch during spring after the Chinese New Year. While the rest of the year is almost over, the best we can all do right now is just wait and save enough money to get the Apple Watch.
