Taig v2.3 is built from the same tool as the previous version. So most of the same devices are still compatible with this new tool. The devices supported on this new Jailbreak tool are as follows:
The iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5 and the iPhone 4s.
The iPad Air 2, iPad Air 1, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 1, iPad 4, iPad 3 and the iPad 2.
iPod touch fifth-generation.
Step 1: Download the trial version of Parallels. This will allow users on the Mac to Jailbreak using the Windows tool. However, its only available for a trial period of 14 days so users will need to be aware of the time farme available to them.
Step 2: Once you have downloaded Parallels Desktop 10 open it and install the virtual installation of Windows. Simply follow the on screen instructions and it will walk you right trough with no problems.
Step 3: Once you have Windows 10 Insider Preview Virtual Machine up and running install iTunes in Windows. This download can be found on the Apple download page.
Step 4: Connect your iPhone or device you plan to Jailbreak to your Mac, and follow the guide for jailbreaking your device inside the Windows VM on the Mac here.
