When Apple first announced the iPhone 7, a lot of people were curious to know how they would be able to come up with a phone without a headphone jack. The smartphone manufacturer was then quick to share that they were coming up with a new series of wireless earphones called the AirPods. When it finally launched the iPhone 7, many couldn’t help but express how much they missed the 3.5mm headphone jack that usually came smartphones, a feature that was often unappreciated on the past devices until it was finally removed by Apple.
Thankfully, an accessory manufacturer has been able to develop a product that brings back the much loved headphone jack back to the iPhone 7. Yesterday, Incipio announced The OX Case as an innovative product that will enable iPhone 7 users to listen to music and, at the same time, charge their device. The case was designed to have an integrated Lightning port together with a built-in headphone jack, giving the convenience of a traditional headphone and Lightning connectivity. Instead of making use of an adapter to go with a 3.5mm connector and other accessories, the case allows the user to enjoy their iPhone 7 just as they were able to do on the past iPhone models.
Not only that, the case offers a protective solution that maintains the sleek and slim profile of the iPhone 7. With this, users can enjoy using the case on their device since it does not add bulk to it. The case also has a shock-absorbent exterior, making it a strong solution against drops. It can also be easily installed and removed, thanks to its snap-on design.
The Incipio OX Case will be available in Black, Purple, and Forest color options. It is set to release in the first quarter of the year with a price tag of $59.99.
