Rain Lock: Add Animation To Your Lock Screen

This tweak is really amazing as it adds an animation to your lockscreen. It doesn’t add a rain animation but rather a digital rain that consist of one’s and zero’s or those icons in Matrix movie. These animation are very similar to that of the Matrix movies(I hope you know what is it) that has 0’s and 1’s in green color dropping from every inch of the computer screen.

Once this tweak is installed, a preference pane is added to your Settings Menu. From here you can configure the rain drops, the text, colors and many more.

You can enable or disable the tweak and you can also enable or disable the dim screen from the preference pane. You can also select on how to activate the animation from the lockscreen, which can happen either by double tapping or short tap on the lock screen to activate it. If you want to start it automatically, then you can enable the “Add Auto Start”. You can select the animation mode in which you can choose from a list of 4:

• Intro Message + Random Rain
• Intro Message Only
• Random Rain Only
• Single Drop

You can also select the amount of rain animation cluttering you lock screen by using the sliders, you can select the rain text, enable or disable the overlay content of your lockscreen, select the color of the starting rain and select the color of the rain tail. The text you can select for the rain can be:

• Custom
• Matrix
• 1’s and 0’s

If you have selected intro message + rain drops or intro message as your animation mode and you like to change the text, you can do this by tapping on “Click Here To Change Intro Message” located at the bottom of the preference pane. You can also select the position of the intro message and choose the color that suits you best.

I really enjoyed adding this tweak as if gives my lockscreen some new features with the rain drops animation ( I loved the Matrix movies). Those who are The Matrix die hard fan or love this animation tweak and want to try, it is available on Cydia for $2.50.
