TravelVegas – Las Vegas Deals App Review – All You Need To Visit Vegas
If you’re an owner of an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, you’ve probably heard the “there’s an app for that” saying. If you’re going to travel to some unknown place, the App Store can provide you with a lot of apps to help you navigate or find certain locations. Most of those apps are too general, but if you’re planning to visit Las Vegas, there’s a special app you’d most likely want to have, especially if it’s going to be your first trip.
The “TravelVegas – Las Vegas Deals” app is developed by TravelVegas for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and requires iOS 4.0 or higher to run. With its help you can find out what to do and where to go in Las Vegas, learn about available discounts and save much money and time when travelling there.
So let’s see what this app has to offer.
The main screen of the “TravelVegas – Las Vegas Deals” app has 9 icons that give you information on finding the best deals, hotels, restaurants and so on, but before moving on to them I’d like to mention the Weather icon located in the top right corner of the main screen – as you could have guessed, you can view weather forecasts there, which is very useful for those visiting the city.
The Deals menu of the app offers a number of useful deals in your neighborhood – you can buy them right from your Apple device or even view them on a map to understand their location better.
In the Hotels menu you can view the hotels nearby, sort them by their ratings, and call them to ask some questions or book a room. You can also add hotels to your favorites’ list and view their photo galleries if they have any.
The Shows menu will give you info on different shows that are expected to take place soon, and you can book tickets for those shows using the same menu. You can also learn more about the Nightlife in Vegas, Attractions, Dining, and even Transportation and Air from the corresponding menus.
At the bottom of the app you can find the “star” icon to make or view your lists of favorite places, and there’s also a travel guide to personalize your trips.
The TravelVegas can be downloaded from the App Store for free, and it has 99% of what you need to visit Vegas. The other 1% is your wish to go there.
