ShoutDown is a new released tweak that allows you to perform a particular action when you shout a word to your device. It is a handy tool when you want to perform a particular action and all you can do is to yell at your device and see it happening.
ShoutDown can make your device to respiring, reboot, shutdown, or even get locked. However to perform these actions, you need to assign an activator gesture to it in order to activate the features. When the tweak gets activated it display a notification message that the ShoutDown has been turned on. The same happens when the tweak gets deactivated.
Once you receive the message that the tweak has been toggled on, shout at your device to perform any action. The tweak looks for a loud noise with a particular word to perform the action. In case you are in a loud area and fear that the tweak misunderstands the loud noises, worry not because the tweak gets deactivated after a certain time.
Once the tweak has been installed, a preference pane is set up in the settings menu. From the menu you can set the volume level and select the specified action when you shout at your device.
The volume level is related to the volume of your shout. This mean the higher the volume scrubber, the louder you have to shout. The lower the volume scrubber, the softer you shout should and will be.
The After-Shout menu, you select the action (respiring, reboot, power down or lock) when you shout at your device.
Remember, I said that you need to assign an activator gesture in order to activate this tweak. Well you have to navigate to activator menu from the settings menu and assign a gesture for this tweak.
This tweak might not be pleasant to those who are regularly living or visiting a quiet area as it make be seen awkward when you are shouting at your device. But for those who are short tempered and want the device to perform a quick action then it is for you.
