The Tales of Pirates Kids is iPhone Game is fun and educational. It teaches kids skills like decision making, matching, coordination, and math. This is all in the disguise of a fun action packed game. Kids never know they are learning. My four year old daughter played this game for over 2 hours and had a ball.
The Tales of Pirates opens up to a map screen where the users spend most of their time going from location to location. Each game screen, when finished, unlocks the next game. Each location is colorful and fun. One such example is a game screen where users have to weigh bananas in a two sided balancing scale. The game gives the user a set number to match and that amount of bananas are in one side of the scale. To win kids must pull down bananas until their number matches the number on the other side. The game is fun and they are learning math at the same time.
My overall opinion of this game is it is fantastic! Kids will love it and parents will love to let them play it. I highly recommend it for kids between the ages of 3 and 10. It’s $1.99 cents in the app store and it’s worth every penny!
