While movie fans are waiting for “The Amazing Spider-Man” to come to the cinemas with brand-new cast and plot, iOS and Android users are getting prepared to get their own portion of Spider-Man. The mobile version of the upcoming yet very famous Spider-Man movie is expected to appear at the App Store and Google Play on June 28, just when the movie is announced to reach the cinemas.
Not much is known about The Amazing Spider-Man game yet, but we can already guess Gameloft’s new creation is going to be outstanding. They say it’ll follow the movie’s storyline, so you’ll be able to help Peter Parker gain arachnid powers and become a superhero. Naturally, you’ll also enjoy the New York from the roofs of the building and help Spider-Man fight evil – that’s what many of us used to dream of when we were younger 🙂
Gameloft has also released a teaser video for the game, and it’s worth watching:
As you can see from the video, the game looks really great – I don’t think there are many mobile games with such smooth and polished graphics. The iOS version of the game is designed for the Apple iPhone 4S and the iPads, and it’ll look very nice on the high-resolution displays of these devices. As for the Android version, we don’t know on which devices it’s going to work, but we hope to find it out soon.
