Martian Passport SmartWatch
Martian Watches are one of the top smart watches on the market at this time. They are one of few which shows the notifications on the watch itself. The display will show who is calling and the number as well as the text message and sender. These are features that make a smart watch “Smart” in my opinion. There have been several companies attempt to create smart watches but they only notify when the call comes through or the text. They don’t show the callers name or other info. The Martian Watch uses Bluetooth 4.0 for connecting and an application to communicate with the smartphone. It’s compatible with both Android and iOS.
The model we were able to review here was the Passport. The build quality was superb. The watch itself is wrapped with stainless steel with a very nice watch crystal. Battery life is a big issue when choosing a smart watch. The Passport watch has a retro style analog watch which runs on a different battery. This battery has a two year life span making it much more usable. The digital part of the Martian Watch has a battery life span of around 5-7 days standby. Talk time and notification numbers will play a role in just how long the battery will last. During my trial period of using this watch. I wore the watch for around two weeks and only charged it three times during the trial. It has an indicator which shows the amount of battery life remaining in the digital part of the watch. Battery life was never an issue with my use. It’s just as easy to charge it almost nightly with your other phones.

Overall, I have to say this is my favorite Smart Watch so far. However, it is a little more expensive than others such as the Cogito Smart Watch which we recently reviewed. The Martian Watch has the competition beat hands down at this time. I can definitely say I would recommend this to family and friends.
