With the new iOS7, most of the user interface has been changed and modified. However, currently when an app is purchased and downloaded there is no way someone can tell how long will it take for the app to be downloaded and how much is remaining. Many users make rough estimation based on the progress bar on the app icon.
AppETA is the tweak that solves all these problems. It provides you the status of the download, the remaining time, the size of the application downloaded so far, the speed at which it is downloading and the last but not the least it names the developer. It provides all the necessary data required by the user.
Once the tweak is installed, navigate to settings and enable the tweak. A respring is required in order to experience its full functionality. To view all the information of the app that is downloading, just double tap on it.
The theme of the alert style can be configured to either dark or white in the setting itself. The tweak also provides options for changing the progress bar color and also chose whether to display the percentage or the estimated size.
AppETA is created by Smartviper and is available on Cydia for $0.99. It is very handy and useful when downloading large size applications/game or there is a slow internet connection. I have noted that when a small sized application is being downloaded, the percentage size on the application icon remains at 0%. This is just a minor bug and hopefully it will get fixed in the next update.
