After releasing the first beta of their iOS 8.3 update, Apple has released a second version for developers using the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch products. As initially reported on the first release, the iOS update focuses on adding a new Emoji picker, Wireless CarPlay feature, an updated voice for Siri, improved login for Google products, and Apple Pay support for China. These new features look to be promising and exciting for iOS users who have been waiting for these improvements for quite some time.
With iOS 8.3 slated for a release later this year, Apple is currently working hard to release a public version of the iOS 8.3 beta together with the third version in the middle of March. Apart from working hard on this release, Apple is reported to be working on iOS 8.4 by providing a new streaming music service to its users and iOS 9.0 included with performance improvements and bug fixes.
One of the most exciting new improvements for iOS 8.3 is Siri. Since it was released, users have long requested for support for their own native language. With iOS 8.3, Siri will now be supporting other languages such as Danish, Dutch, Russian, Portuguese, Thai, Swedish, Turkish, and English (for India).
As of this writing iOS 8.2 is on its beta 5 version and is getting ready for a March release. According to sources, additional developer betas won’t be released anymore. The next release for iOS 8.4 will be available in summer and will include the new music streaming service. Lastly, iOS 9 will be available for release in fall.
If you’ve been looking for a new update to your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch device, you will have to set a reminder for these dates. By then, you’ll be able to enjoy the new features that iOS will be equipped with.
