Add Great New Multitasking Features on: iOS 10 Cydia Tweak Called App Center
Multitasking is one of the most important parts of any workflow on a smartphone. Whether you are looking up something in Safari and trying to find a phone number in contacts is just part of a “normal” user. Apple introduced the concept with the iPhone early on giving developers opportunities to create apps which worked alongside the AppSwitcher. However, until this day I am yet to see any iTunes apps which can do the things Cydia Tweaks can do. Now, there may be limitations in place I am not aware of but I personally think the jailbreak community brings so much more to iOS.
Today to even show that statement even truer is a new tweak called App Center. This tweak adds an additional page of consthe control center section. Real estate which wasn’t being used for any purpose beforehand. It was a great place to add something new without taking away from a different feature or adding clutter to others. Are you beginning to see the value of having a jailbroken device now? It adds so many awesome features to iOS which weren’t available before.
The App Center tweak makes it a simple and fast way to switch from one app to another. The apps added to this page are customizable under the settings menu where the other Cydia Tweaks are listed. It will display the most recent applications opened until you customize it to add your favorites. Users can choose up to nine different icons to have added. It’s a great way to use your favorite apps easier and faster tucked out of the way, right inside the control center.
How to Download Youtube Videos on iOS 10 iPhone, iPad, iPod No Jailbreak or Computer
App Center is one of the more expensive tweaks costing $3.99 in BigBoss Repo. Whether it’s worth the extra price will depend on how much you would use these new features being added to your iOS device. App Center adds a few settings users can adjust to their liking to such as the size of the window using a scrub bar to increase or decrease size. After installing App Center users will be prompted to setup when opening control center the first time afterward. It will walk you through it with a brief tutorial or guide style of installation. Applications can be opened by long holding on them to open the app fully or tap the app icon to open them inside of the app center tweak itself in control center.
Definitely, a great way to multitask and a much better way to jump from app to app. The choice comes down to every user themselves and determining will this tweak add value to my device and improve my workflow. Personally, I think it’s a great tweak and one all iOS users should consider trying out.
