It’s quite frustrating when you want to delete all the text messages or iMessages in your messages application since you’ll have the option to delete them all one by one instead of deleting all at once.
A new jailbreak tweak called DeleteAllMessages by iOS developer Aaron Thomas will allow you to delete all your text messages and iMessages with a single tap of a button. Once installed, the tweak adds a new button to the top right corner of the stock messages application named “Delete All” which will delete all the messages when you press it.
To find this button in the messages application, you’ll first have to press the “Edit” button. Once you press it, you’ll see the new “Delete All” button available in the top right corner. Tap on it to delete all your messages and then press “Done”
A little downside to this tweak is that it doesn’t present a warning before deleting all your messages. Once you tap the “Delete All” button, all your messages are deleted without displaying a warning. So you must be careful so as not to delete your messages by mistake. Other than this, it’s a pretty useful tweak which you can find in Cydia via BigBoss repo for free.
