Apple has always been considered to have a stable software for iOS. However, yesterday on Reddit users discovered a way to crash the devices by playing a ten second video. Once the video has played the device will get slower and slower until it reaches a frozen state. As far as we are aware this affects devices back to the iPhone 4 running iOS 5 and above. So if you are using one of these devices you will have to do a hard reset once you have played the video and your device has frozen. A hard reset is simply holding the home button and power button together until the Apple sign appears on the screen. After you have completed the hard reset your iOS device will be good as new.
