When you transfer a photo to your device via iTunes, it automatically gets saved into a synchronized album. Any new photo synchronized is added to this album. However you can’t delete any photo from this album as restricted by Apple on their devices. In additon, you can’t move the synchronized photos to your camera roll or another album. The only way to delete the synchronized photos is via iTunes from your PC.
A new jailbreak tweak has been released in Cydia that offers a solution to this limitation and allows you to manage your synchronized photos easily and quickly. Called iDeletePhotos, the tweak allows you to delete the synchronized photos without any difficulty. In addition, you can move these photos to your camera roll or any other album in the photos app.
Once you install iDeletePhotos, no configuration is required. You can simply open your photos library, head to the synchronized album and either delete or move the photos to another album.
iDeletePhotos definitely provides a concrete solution to this limitation set by Apple. iDeletePhotos developed by iOSDevT is available in Cydia for free and works on all iPhone, iPad and iPod running iOS 6 and later.
