Sometimes it is confusing when you adjust the volume using the volume control. You think you have turned down the volume for the music but in fact you have done that for the ringer and not for the music. When music is played, it plays at full volume. The same happens for ringer. Volume Mixer however gives you the ability to adjust the volume of multiple audio outputs and therefore will display multiple volume sliders in the Notification Center.
This tweak has nicely positioned the volume sliders with decent style along with percentage for each sliders.
Installing this tweak adds a preference pane to your settings menu. From here you can enable or disable the tweak at your demand. You enable or disable the usage of specific sliders for an audio output depending if you use it or not, you can order the sliders as you see it fit, you can also choose to hide the slider’s percentage, choose a skin color from the list given, change the color of the sliders as well as the text and grabbers.
There are 4 skins you can choose from:
- Default iOS
- Cream Round
- Cream Rect
- Metal
You can also choose various colors for the sliders, text and grabber from the list:
- Red
- Black
- Gray
- White
- Green
- Blue
- Yellow
- Orange
- Purple
- Brown
In addition, you can position the volume mixer widget in the notification center as you like.
Volume Mixer is worth the price the developer is charging. It is very consistent as you can adjust the volume of multiple audio channels and outlets even if you are not using them. If you want to give it a try, it is available in Cydia for $0.99
